Director of Assessments
Wellington Counseling Group (WCG) is accepting applications for a full-time licensed psychologist to serve as our Director of Assessments. WCG is a well-established and thriving multi-specialty group practice with a flourishing testing clinic. Our Northbrook office will be the primary base for testing, and our Lakeview office will be utilized as well. This full-time position requires mostly daytime availability (8a-4p) with an option to work on weekends and evenings when requested. Given the nature of the testing process, WCG provides ample scheduling flexibility.
Ideal candidates are those who possess intermediate to advanced testing skills and who are interested in assuming a leadership role while expanding our existing assessment clinic.
Wellington Counseling Group is accepting applications for 1 postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology for the 2020-2021 training year at our Northbrook location.
The experience begins as a 12-month paid fellowship position but is designed for those who are seeking a three-year commitment to join our team as a licensed psychologist. The start date is negotiable depending on the circumstances and needs of the practice and candidates.
Ideal candidates are those with experience working with children and adolescents, as this will constitute a sizeable portion of your clientele; however, this does not exclude working with adults. Candidates should also be experienced with and have a strong interest in testing.
Psychologist / Counselor / Social Worker Position in Northbrook
Ideal candidates are those comfortable treating children and teens, as this will constitute a sizeable portion of your clientele; however, this does not exclude working with adults (roughly 50% of caseloads). Candidates who possess assessment skills are encouraged to apply; however, this is not a requirement. Availability to work 2-3 days (including evenings) a week, and 1 weekend day is required.
