She has a background working with families in conflict, relationship issues, young adults experiencing significant life transitions, and has extensive experience with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. McKenna is a graduate of the University of San Diego with a Master of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy. She spent her practicum year with adolescents and adults struggling with their mental health, and working with their families to help them support one another through challenging times. She embodies a warm and empathic approach, and believes that everyone is doing the best they can with the resources they have.

In her free time, McKenna enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, running, and traveling!
