Graduate Level Therapist
Chloe Pimentel is a Graduate Level Marriage and Family Therapy student from Northern Illinois University. Chloe is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at NIU and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon where she earned B.A.’s in psychology and Spanish.
In her work with individuals, couples, and families, Chloe utilizes a collaborative, non-judgmental approach. She believes that individuals are the experts on their own lives; her goal is to help clients find the solutions that work best for them. Chloe uses a systemic perspective when working with clients and she is certified in Gottman Level 1 couples therapy, as well as Prepare/Enrich premarital counseling.
Once she completes her master’s program, Chloe plans to work as a therapist providing services to individuals struggling with life transitions, familial/relational conflict, trauma, and mood and anxiety disorders. Chloe also has a specific interest in working with the Latino population, healthcare workers, and first responders.
In her free time, Chloe enjoys reading, watching movies, staying active, traveling, and spending time with friends.
