Policy Updates for COVID-19
We all need to do our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 and reduce community transmission of the Omicron variant.
As such, we are temporarily suspending in-office sessions in our 3 offices: Lakeview, Wellington, and Northbrook. These changes will take effect on 12/26/2021. However, we are currently planning to reopen in-office visits on Monday 1/17/2022, which is 2 weeks following the holiday and New Year celebrations.
Beginning on our re-opening date (1/17/2022), we will adjust our vaccination policy. Moving forward, only fully vaccinated individuals (and their accompanying family members in the waiting room) will be invited back for in-person visits. Patients who are currently ineligible for vaccination or are under the age of 5 are exempted from this new policy.
Preventing Exposure and Spread
While in office, we will continue to do our part to slow the spread of the virus. Wellington Counseling Group will continue to follow the protocols laid out by the CDC to mitigate exposure and the spread of COVID-19.
Our staff will continue to provide hand sanitizer in all public areas of our office, including the waiting rooms, private spaces, and bathrooms.
We'll continue to encourage social distancing when possible and space out appointments.
Masks will be required while in our building, per guidance from Cook County and the city of Chicago.
